A full day of fishing and beach time in Bahía de los Sueños, ending with your catch cooked right on the beach. It's a recreational tour, great for beginners.
5:00 am: pickup at your accommodation in La Paz and drive to Bahía de los Sueños (about 45 minutes). Breakfast on the way: 2 beef burritos per person, water, sodas and a 12-pack of beer.
6:00–11:00 am: fishing.
11:00 am–3:00 pm: on the beach, the crew prepares the catch of the day as 3 cold dishes (curricanes, sashimi and ceviche), grilled fish and a starter of chocolata clams. Snorkel gear is included so you can explore the reefs.
3:00–4:00 pm: drive back to La Paz.
Prefer to eat at a restaurant? Fishing extends until 1:00 pm. For bigger fish, the restaurant option is recommended.
Prices: $13,500 MXN for 1–2 people, $16,000 MXN for 3–4 people, plus $4,000 MXN per extra guest. Maximum 8 guests.
Good to know: the pangas are 23–24 feet and have no bathroom. Transport is only from La Paz city. Fishing depends on the weather and isn't guaranteed, but this area has about an 85% catch rate. Dishes depend on the catch and what's available.
