This small fishing village has about 80 full time residents, a fantastic little beach restaurant featuring fresh-caught seafood, and a small general store. It takes about three and a half hours to arrive here by car from La Paz (an enjoyable and scenic drive down the coast mostly on a dirt road - high clearance vehicles recommended), or about 5-7 hours by boat depending on your cruising speed. The fishing here is some of the best in the world. This is a great home base for expeditions to Isla San José or Isla San Francisco.
